JONATHAN SPENCER is best known for his roles in PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, and multiple seasons of MY NAME IS EARL and GILMORE GIRLS. Jonathan, as Vic Manny, was notably replaced by a xerox copy machine in Season 2 of MAD MEN. He recently completed the FOX pilot PRODIGY/BULLY and he plays 5 different roles in the 2013 sketch movie INAPPROPRIATE COMEDY w/ Adrien Brody and Rob Schneider. This summer, Jonathan will appear in Atom Egoyan's DEVIL'S KNOT starring Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth He made his directorial debut w/ the music video "REM" by Atlanta's drivin' n' cryin'.
An accomplished bass player and guitarist, Jonathan has toured w/ Peter Buck of REM and his own acoustic band w/ Laura Slade Wiggins (SHAMELESS). He plays Flynn of the Future in the upcoming Christmas episode of Disney's SHAKE IT UP and he is currently filming a large supporting role opposite Jon Heder in the French film "Réalité" which is set to premiere in 2013. Jonathan will also have a recurring role as a Casting Director in the FX comedy LEGIT.
With 25 years experience in acting, both on stage and in film, NADYNE PARR brings a seasoned perspective to each of her roles. "More than anything, I want to tell great stories... stories of redemption, transformation, and triumph. I want to entertain people, challenging them to live full lives, rich with meaning and impact," she explains with great passion and conviction. Her film credits include, TALKING DEAD (an award-winning independent short film by FULVEW productions), THE DARK ROOM, THE LUCAS FILES, and FLICKERING BLUE (each produced by Grand Valley State University's film school), and appearances in REAL STEEL, DEMOTED, and HBO's, 61*. Her proudest role to date was for Columbia Film School's graduate program, playing the single mom to a troubled teen in, GRASS STAINS, a top-10 finisher among other Master's Thesis projects.
Living in West Michigan for 10+ years, Parr's experience spans trade-shows, industrial film, commercials, and a television pilot talk show she also co-created and co-hosted. She is a trained secondary education theater teacher, working in Grand Rapids area high schools as a substitute, and serving kids in between acting gigs. TRACEY WALKER has spent over 30 years on stage, in the studio and both in front of and behind the camera. Early national commercials led to on-stage work with some of her favorite roles including: Maggie in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Grand Award Nomination), Lotty in ENCHANTED APRIL, Truvy in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Katherine in TAMING OF THE SHREW, Rosencrantz in HAMLET, Belinda/Flavia in NOISES OFF (Grand Award) and a five year run as Constance the nine-month-pregnant-maid-of-honor, in a professional production of
TONY –N- TINA’S WEDDING.
Walker has appeared in over a dozen independent films, and a handful of feature films as a featured extra. She has also made a gradual transition to Art Direction and Properties Design. Walker is a Pisces and yet doesn’t like the water.
JACK RUTLEDGE studied drama at Illinois State University. After a 35-year career in advertising, he decided to expand his acting experience. He has become well-known in the Michigan film community, having appeared in over 20 films and several TV commercials.
In addition to being cast as the lead in THE PAINTER AND THE WIFE (also directed by Fortenbacher), he recently was seen in VIRGINIA, a film written and directed by Dustin Lance Black (MILK) starring Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris. He also appeared in THE GENESIS CODE with Earnest Borgnine, shortly before his death. Jack makes his home in Lowell, Michigan.
JOE CIPRIANO began his acting career at the age of 8. He was bitten by the acting bug as he watched his big sister Niki Cipriano's acting endeavors. Prior to MELON HEAD, Joe has played a dog, a wealthy prince, the son of a butcher (not the kind in the meat department), a kid whose head explodes, a dear grandson, a middle-schooler who just got out of school for the summer, a theater patron who was robbed and held hostage at gunpoint, and an airline passenger. He has now had his head lifecasted for two roles, the other being HECTIC KNIFE. Joe recently played the role of Young Noah in the feature film SAND CASTLES with Clint Howard, Saxon Trainor, and Jordon Hodges. He has just been offered a featured role in GOLDEN SHOES with Eric Roberts and John Rhys-Davies.
